Fusiverse is different from a platform like Spotify. Spotify distributes music that has already moved through established rights and licensing systems — labels, publishers, PROs. Fusiverse is built for a different reality: AI-generated music, AI-assisted music, and independent creators whose rights situation may be genuinely unresolved. These terms exist to be honest about that, not to pretend it away.

1. What you can upload

You may upload a track to Fusiverse only if:

• You created it yourself, or have explicit permission from everyone who did;
• Any AI tool used to generate or assist it was used in a way consistent with that tool's own terms of service; and
• You are not knowingly infringing another person's or company's copyright, trademark, or other rights.

Every upload requires you to affirmatively check a box stating:

“I confirm that I own or have permission to upload and share this music, including any AI-generated or AI-assisted elements. I understand I am solely responsible for the rights associated with this content, and that Fusiverse may remove it and/or suspend my account if that turns out not to be true.”

We record who accepted this, when, and from what IP address, for every single track. This doesn't eliminate legal risk for you or for us — but it means Fusiverse is not a platform where content appears anonymously with no accountability attached.

2. Who owns the music

You retain ownership of whatever rights you have in the music you upload. Fusiverse does not take ownership of your tracks. By uploading, you grant Fusiverse a non-exclusive license to host, stream, and display your track on the platform (including to the collaborators you tag on it) — nothing more.

If a track has multiple collaborators, credit and any rights implications between those collaborators are between them to work out — Fusiverse records who was credited with what role, but is not a party to that agreement.

The rights status of AI-generated content is genuinely unsettled law in most jurisdictions as of this writing. Uploading a track as “AI-generated” is a required disclosure, not a rights determination — it does not by itself establish who owns the output.

3. Reports and disputes

When a track, post, or comment is reported:

• It enters a moderation queue reviewed by the Fusiverse team;
• We may remove the content, leave it up, or suspend the account that posted it;
• Rights holders who believe their work was used without permission may request removal by contacting us with enough detail to identify the specific track and the specific claim.

We are not a court and don't adjudicate rights disputes between third parties. Our role is to act reasonably and promptly on credible reports, and to keep an audit trail of who affirmed what, so that if a dispute does escalate, there's a real record.

4. Account suspension

We may suspend an account that repeatedly uploads content without adequate rights, that is the subject of credible, repeated reports, or that otherwise violates these terms or our Community Guidelines. Suspension blocks login and uploads; it does not automatically delete existing content, which is handled case by case.

5. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page as the platform and the legal landscape around AI-generated content evolve, and we'll make reasonable efforts to notify creators of material changes.
